World Series 3rd Place Champions!!!

In an amazing show of heart and spirit, the New York Rage helped complete an East Coast sweep of the NAGAAA World Series Open C Division. Rage rose to new heights with great play and die-hard team effort that led to a 3rd place finish out of 38 teams.
Pool play found the team building with each game. After a first round loss, the team rebounded with a tie and finished the round with a victory to earn a 1-1-1 record.
After a full day of rain delays thursday, the sky finally took a break from the rain. Rage quickly took advantage going undefeated in the first day of elimination play with 4 victories against quality teams.
The next morning (emphasis on morning) left the Rage with a wake-up call with a loss to Boston. The team responded by fighting right back to earn the chance to play Boston again a game later. However, 3rd place was in the cards as Boston again took home the win.
It was an amazing week. Special thanks to the players who helped complement our roster perfectly! Congrats also to NY Eagle for their 4th place finish in the B Division.
